Predawn Hydrophone Buoy Crane Operation on Vancouver Harbour Waters

Dark, rippling water fills the frame under the heavy predawn sky of Vancouver, British Columbia. A heavy crane arm extends from the right, lowering a hydrophone buoy into the still morning water. The buoy bobs slightly as it enters the harbor, creating small concentric ripples that reflect the faint, diffuse light of the approaching dawn.
