Midday light reflects off the wet cobblestones of a Prague alleyway where a large, translucent weather balloon launch tarp snaps violently in the wind. The heavy plastic sheeting billows and cracks against the gray sky, partially obscuring a group of technicians in high-visibility vests who are securing the equipment. Rain-forest botanist with specimen jars and a headnet is not present, but the dampness of the scene is evident in the slick surfaces. The tarp’s movement dominates the frame, creating dynamic tension against the static, historic architecture of the surrounding buildings. Shadows are sharp and short, indicating the sun is high overhead.
