The late summer air hangs heavy under an overcast sky, yet the setting sun breaks through with a low, warm glow that illuminates the dog's short, dense coat. The animal's muzzle shape is distinct and its ears set naturally against the head, showing the breed's alert yet calm demeanor. Soft domestic nostalgia permeates the scene as the light catches the texture of the fur and the damp patches on the ground. A wooden fence post frames the right edge, at the base of the composition in a quiet residential space near Changsha. The camera focuses sharply on the dog's eyes while the background blurs into soft greens and grays.
