The crowd below forms a symmetrical gathering beneath the ancient masonry, their faces and dark winter coats dusted with the same vibrant hue. Dramatic clouds drift overhead, their edges sharp against the pale sky, while the fine powder creates a soft, glowing halo around the participants. The stone texture of the minarets contrasts with the ephemeral softness of the colored dust. One woman in the foreground lifts her hands, catching the pink mist that settles on her black shawl.
