Piling System just after sunrise in Seattle

A busy morning scene at the Seattle ferry terminal reveals the exposed concrete ramp and piling system at low tide, where the water has receded to reveal the muddy riverbed. Thick sea fog crawls over the nearby breakwater, partially obscuring the distant skyline of Seattle, Washington. A few commuters walk along the wet pavement, their breath visible in the cool air just after sunrise. The industrial textures of the terminal contrast with the soft gray mist, while the structural details of the pilings stand out against the receding water. The image shows the authentic, lived-in atmosphere of a Pacific Northwest transit hub during the early hours.
