Pedestrian on Dawn Overpass Ramp

Grey morning light washes over a concrete overpass ramp where a lone figure stands near the edge. Soft overcast skies diffuse the light, casting no harsh shadows across the weathered asphalt. Wisps of white steam rise from metal grates along the sidewalk, lingering in the cool air after recent rain. Behind the pedestrian, the bright blue and yellow signage of a fluorescent convenience store glows against the dim dawn, illuminating the glass doors and metal roll-up shutters. The pedestrian wears a long, light-colored garment that drapes loosely, against the dark, damp pavement. Steam drifts upward in thin, irregular columns, blending with the grey sky. The edge of the ramp curves sharply away, leading toward the distant, hazy horizon where the city begins to wake.
