Palm Leaf Shadows on Jakarta Stucco

Neon light bounces off polished surfaces, casting sharp, organic patterns of palm leaves against a limewashed stucco wall near Blok M. The early evening glow reflects from nearby signs, painting the textured plaster in cool blues and warm ambers. Dark, intricate silhouettes of fronds stretch across the pale, uneven surface, creating a mirrored effect where shadows meet their reflections on the glossy floor. Small highlights dance on the wet-looking sheen of the pavement, at the base of the abstract shapes in the specific urban environment of Jakarta. the mix of light and leaf creates a meditative rhythm on the rough plaster, ending with a distinct, dark vein of shadow running diagonally across the lower corner of the wall.
