Stark fluorescent tubes line a large mirror, casting cool white light across pale suits arranged in a fashion showroom window. The garments hang in neat rows, their pale wool and linen textures absorbing the harsh glare while deep shadows pool beneath the hems. Outside, the heavy gray of monsoon rain blurs the glass, against the warm, amber glow of interior shadows that rest on the corners of the display. The low angle emphasizes the towering height of the suits against the dark street. one drop of condensation trails down the glass near the bottom edge, distorting the reflection of a hanger hook.
