Inside, the warm glow of a single desk lamp illuminates a scarred wooden counter, highlighting deep knife marks from years of packing and a stack of terracotta bowls waiting for the next morning’s market. A glass vase holding wilting eucalyptus branches sits near the register, its surface smudged with fingerprints from hurried transactions. Outside, the grey dusk light reflects off the wet pavement, against the cozy, cluttered interior where a customer waits patiently, their umbrella dripping onto the tiled floor, creating a candid snapshot of daily life in the rain.
