Olives at Golden Hour in Granada

A small ceramic bowl of olives sits on a rough-hewn wooden table in a Granada courtyard, catching the last warm rays of the setting sun. The golden light highlights the glossy skins of the dark green olives and the grain of the aged wood beneath them. Behind the bowl, a white stucco wall reflects the amber glow, against the deep shadows of the corner. One olive pit rests on the table edge, at the base of the simple still life in its immediate context.
