The wood grain is rough and textured, with a deep amber hue that contrasts sharply against the cool, shadowed recesses of the adjacent archway. Nearby, terracotta pots hold dried lavender stalks, their brittle stems swaying slightly in the gentle breeze that moves through the narrow space.
