Noodle Bowl on Lacquered Tray Enugu Wet Season

Steam rises from a deep red noodle broth resting on a glossy black lacquered tray. Slices of green onion and thin meat strips float within the liquid. Cool blue twilight from a window washes the white linen tablecloth beside the tray, against the warm orange glow of the food. The lacquer surface reflects the bowl's rim and dimming city lights visible through the glass. Condensation beads on the ceramic exterior, catching the fading daylight. A wooden spoon lies against the tray, its handle worn smooth by use. The texture of the linen meets the sheen of the lacquer at the edge.
