New York Autumn Evening at As City Lights Begin To Glow

A deep trench cuts through a Manhattan sidewalk, releasing thick white steam that rises against the darkening sky as city lights begin to glow. The surrounding pavement is scattered with wet autumn leaves in shades of brown and orange. On the adjacent building facade, green ivy climbs the red brick wall, its leaves catching the ambient street illumination. A heavy iron grate covers part of the opening, and the steam swirls around the base of the masonry, creating a dense fog near the curb. The industrial infrastructure of the city interacting with the seasonal decay of the urban landscape.
