Mist clings low to the cobblestones of the French Quarter as a street sweeper pauses near a wrought-iron balcony, his breath visible in the chill air. The damp pavement reflects the pale gray sky and the muted tones of the surrounding stucco facades, where patches of peeling paint reveal older layers beneath. A few discarded banana leaves lie scattered near a drain, their green edges softened by the fog. In the background, the silhouette of a church steepe emerges faintly from the haze, while a lone figure walks past a closed café, their silhouette blurred by the atmospheric conditions.
