Neon-Lit Tailor Lapel in Medellin Atelier

Deep indigo horsehair canvas supports a basted lapel, its white chalk marks forming precise geometric guides against the dark fabric. Late-night neon light reflects off the smooth surface, casting cool blue and electric pink highlights that dance across the raised stitching. Fine dust particles hang in the narrow shafts of light, illuminating the texture of the wool and the sharp edges of the cut. The fabric rests on a workbench, showing the weight and stiffness of the interlining. Tiny loops of white thread anchor the layers together, standing out against the shadowed recesses. The edge of the lapel curves gently, revealing the raw, unfinished interior where the structure begins to take shape.
