Fine droplets glisten on the heavy canvas of nearby military vehicles under a perfectly clear sky. The asphalt reflects the pale morning glow, showing damp patches where water collects in tire tracks. Behind the watch, the city skyline fades into cool haze. One droplet rolls down the side of a military helmet, catching the faint light before disappearing into the shadows of the vehicle's bumper.
