The faint light of nautical dawn illuminates a busy Delhi street corner where a massive pile driver stands idle on a construction site, its metal frame stark against the dim sky. Above the dusty road, several colorful kites drift low, their strings taut in the morning air. A puddle near the curb reflects the blurred tail lights of a passing auto-rickshaw and the windows of nearby buildings. The raw energy of early morning development and leisure coexisting in the Indian capital.
