Muddy Locker on Sorting Belt in Ulm

Damp earth stains streak the white plastic of a chain-of-custody locker resting on a moving parcel sorting belt in Ulm. Late afternoon light falls through high windows, casting a warm, golden glow that catches the condensation beading on a nearby glass partition. The surface of the locker shows a fine layer of mud and water from the yard, against the clean metal rollers beneath. Early spring air leaves droplets clinging to the transparent barrier, blurring the background slightly. Small debris from the wet yard sits in the locker's corner, while the belt's rubber track curves under the weight of the secured container. A faint shadow stretches across the locker's handle, marking the low angle of the sun.
