Mist rests on the terracotta tiles of a Bologna balcony, softening the sharp geometry of the adjacent portico arches. A weathered wooden railing holds a cluster of potted herbs, their damp leaves catching the diffuse gray light. Below, a narrow street reveals the curved facade of a historic building, its ochre plaster fading into the fog. A metal mailbox, bolted to the wall, bears the faded numbers of a local address.
