Rows of UV bulbs sit on metal shelves, their packaging stark against the dim retail spill. Late autumn chill settles in the corners where lamplight fails to reach. The aquarium glow from lower tanks casts a soft blue sheen on the tiled floor. No people are present, only the stillness of equipment after hours. One reflection of an overhead fixture stretches across the curved edge of a cage door, marking the quiet boundary between the warm interior and the cooling corridor.
