Bright midmorning light floods the open-plan office bay, pouring through broad commercial skylights that wash the desks and glass partitions in a cool, even glow. A white copy paper trolley sits idle beside the main walkway, its wheels resting on polished grey flooring that mirrors the overhead fixtures. Glass partitions separate individual workstations, creating transparent boundaries where stacks of documents and black computer monitors stand ready. The dry season air leaves the interior crisp, with no dust visible in the sunbeams. On the far side, a boardroom table waits with chairs tucked neatly underneath, holding no people yet.
