Marseille Worn Varinish at The Flat Glare Of Noon Light

Under the flat glare of noon, three weathered red and white fishing floats hang from the rusted railing of a wooden bench near the Old Port. The bench shows signs of heavy use, with worn varnish peeling from its curved rungs and seat slats. A few tourists sit nearby, their shadows short and sharp on the sun-bleached stone pavement. The bright light washes out the colors of the distant boats, leaving only the vivid red of the floats and the gray of the sea to stand out. A quiet moment by the water, where the tools of the trade rest against the backdrop of a bustling city port.
