Beside it, a crumpled blue dish towel rests against a crate of tomatoes, the fabric stiff from heat and dust. The vendor’s hand, partially visible, reaches for a fruit knife to slice a peach, the blade catching a sharp glint of light. In the background, a sun-bleached canvas awning provides a sliver of shade, its fabric faded to a pale orange.
