A black and tan Manchester terrier stands alert beside a weathered, pale courtyard wall in Agadir. The dog's glossy coat shows distinct texture, with the tan markings sharply defined around the muzzle and eyebrows. A deep doorway shadow cuts across the wall to the left, creating a diagonal line of contrast against the sunlit stucco. The animal sits at eye level on a rough concrete curb, its ears pricked forward. Warm late afternoon light highlights the fine hairs on the neck and the specific shape of the muzzle. The background wall features faint cracks and a small patch of peeling paint, at the base of the portrait in a lived-in environment. A brass collar tag glints slightly in the corner of the frame.
