A Manchester terrier stands alert beside a weathered beige courtyard wall in Vitoria, its glossy black coat contrasting sharply with tan markings on the muzzle and chest. The dog's distinctive erect ears and compact muzzle face slightly toward the camera, showing the breed's characteristic alertness. Soft morning light falls through overhead leaves, casting dappled shadows across the animal's sleek fur and the rough stucco surface behind it. A thin layer of ground fog hovers near the base of the wall where the dog's paws rest on the paved stone. To the right, the edge of a cast-iron cafe chair intrudes into the frame, its curved leg adding a subtle urban texture. The shallow depth of field keeps the terrier's eyes and whiskers in crisp focus while the background wall blurs into a warm, neutral wash of color.
