Cold moonlight spills across the wet asphalt of a crosswalk in Keren, turning the rain-soaked street into a sheet of silvered glass. One, dark glove lies abandoned near the white painted stripes, its fabric heavy with drizzle. The background reveals the shadowed arches of a shuttered arcade, their columns standing silent against the deepest night sky. Water droplets rest on the rubber sole of the glove, while the pavement reflects the faint, cool glow of the overhead light. The white paint of the crosswalk lines appears slightly blurred by the continuous drizzle, creating a stark contrast against the dark, slick road surface. A small puddle forms near the heel of the glove, mirroring the gray clouds above.
