A cramped, sun-drenched kitchen in a Valparaiso caseta reveals a lived-in moment where daily labor intersects with coastal clutter. Copper pots hang from a rusted rack, their curved surfaces catching the warm late afternoon light that spills through a corrugated tin window, illuminating soap residue clinging to the rim of a stainless steel sink drain. A pair of worn work boots rest near a metal boot scraper, mud still caked on the treads, while a broom leans against a wall of peeling pastel plaster. Stacked ceramic plates sit precariously on a drying rack, their glossy white glaze against the rough, salt-stained concrete floor.
