Warm artificial light spills across a polished folding counter where neatly stacked linens rest in tidy rows. The reception desk surface reflects the soft glow of nearby neon signs, casting muted, elongated streaks along the floor beside the counter. Late summer twilight falls through high windows, blending with the interior illumination to illuminate the space. Subtle wear marks the counter edges, showing signs of daily use. Shadows stretch softly across the floor, falling at the base of the desk near the corner. A faint reflection of a chair leg appears in the glossy floor tile next to the station.
