Warm candlelight spills across the surface, turning the oily broth into a pool of amber and gold. Rain streaks the nearby window glass, blurring distant city lights into soft, out-of-focus orbs. The wooden table edge catches the flickering flame, highlighting the grain and minor scratches. A small pile of fresh herbs sits beside the bowl, their green leaves sharp against the warm tones. Reflections of the candle flame rest on the wet rim of a nearby metal pot, mirroring the amber liquid in the bowl. Steam rises gently from the hot soup, visible as a faint haze above the rim.
