A Lakeland Terrier stands alert on a paved park path in Bouskoura, its coarse salt-and-pepper coat catching the soft light filtering through a broken cloud band. The dog's wedge-shaped head and folded ears face slightly left, capturing a moment just before it turns its attention toward a low concrete ledge in the immediate foreground. Behind the animal, a plain stucco wall shows faint weathering and small cracks, at the base of the scene in a lived-in urban environment rather than a studio. The lighting is diffuse yet bright, highlighting the texture of the dog's wiry fur against the smooth, dusty surface of the pavement. A few scattered dry leaves lie near the wall's base, adding a touch of natural imperfection to the structured setting.
