Lagos Monsoon Pillow Fort on Leather Chair

Soft domestic glow fills a worn leather armchair where a pillow fort rests. White sheets drape over the curved back, forming a small enclosed shelter. Fairy lights string through the fabric, casting warm orange and yellow spots against the dark leather grain. Outside the window, the city begins to glow with electric blue and red streetlights reflecting off the wet glass. Rain streaks blur the urban background. Fine dust particles float in the shafts of artificial light, catching the glow from the string lights. The chair sits slightly angled, revealing the texture of the cracked leather and the soft folds of the bedding. One reflection of a distant neon sign shimmers on the wet windowpane.
