A copper whisk rests in a bowl of thick batter, next to a scattered pile of fresh radishes with their green tops still attached. An orange peel curls on a chipped plate, its zest catching the glare, while a wooden spoon lies abandoned near a stack of wet dishes. Through the window, the dark blue twilight of the fjord contrasts with the warm, cluttered interior, where a linen curtain flutters slightly in the breeze, framing a scene of hurried, lived-in domesticity.
