Khachapuri on Museum Plinth Porto Alegre

Pale morning light falls through sheer curtains, spreading soft, diffuse illumination across a ceramic plate resting on a smooth museum plinth. The Georgian khachapuri dominates the view with its golden-brown crust, the dough puffed and crisp at the edges. A runny egg yolk sits in the center, glowing amber against the white cheese, its surface unbroken and perfectly still. Cool shadows stretch along the walls of the room, marking the dry season's quiet atmosphere. Negative space surrounds the dish, highlighting the texture of the bread and the glossy sheen of the egg. A reflection of the curtain folds appears on the polished surface of the plinth beneath the plate.
