Thick emerald jungle vines twist aggressively across a ceramic plate holding hummus, falafel, and tabbouleh, their leaves crushing the middle of the meal. The street-food cart counter sits in honeyed evening light, illuminating dust motes dancing in golden shafts that pierce the dense foliage. Falafel balls remain crisp and golden-brown on the left, while the tabbouleh salad stays vibrant green beneath a hanging vine tendril. The hummus surface ripples slightly where a vine root presses down, creating a small depression in the creamy texture. Sunlight catches the rough ceramic rim and the smooth, oily sheen of the olive oil drizzle. The vines appear to have erupted overnight, their glossy leaves against the matte clay of the plate and the dusty, warm air of the Amman cart interior.
