Cool indigo light fills a narrow Mumbai stockroom behind a jewelry sales floor, casting deep blue shadows across clean concrete floors. One metal seal-envelope box rests on a stainless steel workbench, its surface reflecting the fading daylight from a high window. The box sits near a row of brass hardware dividers that separate repair, engraving, and gift-service stations. Behind the bench, shelves hold organized trays of optical frames and repair tools, all arranged in strict geometric rows. The converging lines of the shelving units draw toward a darkened doorway at the far end. Dust motes are absent; surfaces gleam with a sterile sheen. A small red sticker marks the corner of the metal box, the only warm color in the monochromatic room.
