Japanese Chin on Shimla Porch Sunset Drizzle

A Japanese Chin with a clear breed-defining flat muzzle, large dark eyes, and a silky white coat accented with tan patches sits centered on weathered wooden planks. The dog's distinct ear set hangs low against the head, framing a face that looks directly up at the eye-level overhead camera. Late autumn rain has darkened the front porch boards in Shimla, creating a glossy surface that reflects the soft, fading sunset light filtering through the mist. A simple wooden railing runs along the edge of the shaded porch, enclosing the space where the dog rests during the light drizzle. Wet droplets rest on the grain of the wood near the dog's paws, and the final amber glow of the day catches the fine texture of the fur.
