Iron Knocker on Oak Door in Bnei Brak Market Lane
Copper-toned light spills across a weathered oak door set deep within a narrow market lane in Bnei Brak. A heavy, hand-forged iron knocker hangs centered on the wood, its surface pitted with age and darkened by time. Long shadows stretch diagonally across the grain of the door, cast by the low sun that rests on the horizon. Dried autumn leaves, brown and brittle, scatter along the stone pavement at the base of the frame. The lane walls rise steeply on either side, creating a corridor of deepening twilight. Shadows lengthen along the cobblestones, converging toward the darkened entrance.
