Iron Boot Scrapers Skylight Passageway Dakhla
Two hand-forged iron boot scrapers rest side by side on a rough stone threshold beneath a soaring glass skylight. Dark, wet metal surfaces gleam under the sharp midmorning sun flooding the passageway. Outside the high windows, autumn leaves in burnt orange and gold hang from branches against a pale sky. Water droplets rest on the lower edges of the iron blades, reflecting the bright light. The stone floor beneath shows deep grooves worn by years of use, now slick with moisture. A slight haze softens the distant architectural lines where humid air meets the cold stone. The contrast between the dark metal and the warm, bright light defines the quiet space. A drop of water slides slowly down the side of the nearest scraper.
