Iris Bloom in Hangzhou Meadow Evening Mist

Golden evening light spills across a wild iris standing tall in a dense meadow near Hangzhou. The flower head leans slightly, its petals edged in bright highlights where the firelight warmth catches the thin, wind-blown tissue. Thick mist softens the background, blurring the surrounding grasses into a wash of muted greens and browns. Only the central bloom remains sharp, revealing the delicate veining and velvet texture of the petals. Late spring foliage surrounds the flower, creating a lush carpet that fades into the gray haze. One dewdrop rests on the lower petal edge, reflecting the amber sky.
