Interlocking Wooden Beams Glass Arcade

Warm amber tones define the interlocking wooden beams of a ceiling structure set within a glass-roofed arcade. The timber forms a complex geometric lattice where thick crossbeams meet at precise right angles, creating deep, soft shadows against the lighter wood grain. Overcast monsoon light falls through the overhead glass, casting a uniform, diffused illumination that eliminates harsh highlights while preserving the texture of the polished surface. Large expanses of white negative space surround the architectural detail, showing the rhythmic repetition of the joinery. Darker shadows pool in the crevices where beams intersect, at the base of the pattern in physical depth. The final corner reveals a subtle grain variation where two pieces of timber lock together.
