String lights hang overhead, casting a warm, uneven glow that reflects off the wet stone floor and the polished metal of the kettle. Heavy rain streaks down the open sides of the passage, blurring the background into soft gray shapes. The stove's iron surface shows signs of soot and heat, against the cool blue tones of the evening. The kettle's handle rests at a sharp angle, catching the string light's reflection in a thin, bright line along its curve.
