The vendor ladles rich broth containing chunks of yak meat into a small bowl, preparing a serving of thukpa for a waiting customer. Neon signs from nearby shops reflect off the wet pavement, casting colorful light on the scene. Steam rises visibly from the pot, against the cooling evening air. The vendor wears a practical apron while interacting with patrons who hold umbrellas, indicating recent rain. The background shows the blurred lights of traffic and pedestrians moving past, at the base of the moment in the busy rhythm of the city.
