A realistic photograph taken at twilight in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, shows the industrial edge of the harbor against the deepening blue sky. In the mid-ground, a steel bridge maintenance cage hangs suspended from the underside of the Macdonald Bridge, swinging slightly in the coastal crosswind. The cage is empty, its metal grating catching the last ambient light. Below, the dark waters of the harbor reflect the fading daylight. In the background, the city skyline is visible with streetlights beginning to glow, illuminating the roadways and buildings along the waterfront.
