The sun dips below the horizon over Halifax Harbour, casting long shadows across the cobblestones of the waterfront district. A heavy steel bridge maintenance cradle hangs suspended over the dark, rippling water near the entrance to the harbor, its industrial cables against the soft orange sky. Pedestrians stroll along the seawall, some pausing to watch the harbor traffic, while others hurry toward the nearby restaurants. The light reflects off the windows of the modern office buildings in the background, creating a shimmering effect against the deepening blue of the evening. The intersection of maritime infrastructure and urban life as day transitions into night.
