Deep shadow blankets the snowy terrain beneath a vast sky where thin cloud gaps reveal scattered stars. Ribbons of green and purple light stretch across the horizon in a wide panoramic sweep, their edges softly glowing against the dark. The cold, dry air hangs still above the frozen ground, untouched by wind. Rim light traces the tops of distant snowdrifts, creating sharp white lines against the deep blue night. The aurora moves slowly, its colors shifting from emerald to violet as it drapes over the landscape. A faint reflection of the lights glimmers on a patch of smooth ice near the foreground, anchoring the celestial display to the earth.
