Warm yellow light spills from a green glass shade onto a wooden study carrel surface. Scattered papers and an open notebook lie beneath the glow, their edges sharp against the dimming room. Behind the desk, a large window reveals deep blue twilight fading outside, against the lamp's yellow warmth. Condensation beads along the lower pane of the glass, catching the light in tiny, clear droplets that blur the view of the street beyond. The wooden frame shows worn grain, and metal chair legs rest firmly on the tiled floor. A faint shadow falls across the corner of the desk where the wood meets the wall.
