Golden Retriever on Museum Plinth in Surreal Corridor

Warm late-afternoon light falls through sheer curtains, illuminating a golden retriever sleeping curled on a thick braided rug. The rug rests atop a smooth, pale museum plinth that sits in the center of a long, impossible corridor. Identical wooden doors line both walls, stretching endlessly without any visible rooms behind them. The dog's fur glows amber in the filtered beam, while shadows stretch sharply across the floorboards. The turn of seasons is hinted at by the cool, low angle of the light hitting the rug's textured fibers. A small patch of dust motes floats in the shaft of light, suspended above the sleeping animal's flank. The endless repetition of the doors creates a rhythmic, silent pattern against the stillness of the dog.
