The sun hangs low over the New Orleans skyline, casting a warm amber glow across the dark, rippling water of a tidal channel. A steel drawbridge spans the width of the frame, its structure silhouetted against the brightening sky as it begins its slow ascent. The water reflects the fading daylight, creating a mirror-like surface that breaks into gentle waves near the bridge supports.
