Glazing Pastries in Prague

A damp Prague street corner glows under the diffused gray light of a misty dawn, where the cobblestones reflect the soft, wet sheen of early morning. A small bakery window, framed by traditional Art Nouveau stucco, reveals a warm interior against the cool exterior. Inside, a baker in a white apron uses a wooden brush to glaze pastries on a glass sugar jar lid, the action caught mid-motion. Outside, a stray cat with mottled fur sits on a wrought-iron bench, watching the steam rise from a nearby vent.
