Ghost Commuters Under Flickering Zagazig Light
The deep blue twilight of late autumn settles over a Zagazig crosswalk, where long exposure turns rushing pedestrians into translucent streaks of motion. One overhead lamp flickers with an erratic, yellow-white rhythm, casting jagged shadows that dance across the cracked asphalt. Heat shimmer rises from the warm pavement, distorting the edges of the walking figures and blurring the boundary between solid ground and moving air. Distant town glow paints the horizon in hazy orange, against the cool shadows of the underpass. The rule of thirds frames the scene, placing the ghostly figures along the left vertical line while the heavy, flickering light anchor the right. A final, sharp shadow of a metal railing cuts diagonally across the bottom corner, at the base of the ethereal motion in concrete reality.
